Meet our team 

Woodpecker Class is a warm, supportive space designed to help pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to learn. Each child follows a personalised timetable that reflects their individual needs, interests, and strengths. Some pupils join Woodpecker Class for focused sessions throughout the week, while others spend more time with us to benefit from smaller group learning and a calm, structured environment.

In Woodpecker Class, children are encouraged to build positive relationships, develop confidence, and practice key skills at their own pace. We offer a range of activities—such as sensory exploration, communication games, creative tasks, and real life learning experiences—that support emotional wellbeing, independence, and engagement.

Our approach is flexible and responsive. Pupils can access Woodpecker Class regularly for additional support, helping them develop strategies that enable them to succeed both here and in their main classrooms.
