    Pupil Premium

At Acre View Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child is able to achieve and thrive during their time with us. Pupil Premium funding is used to provide targeted support and pastoral care for children who need it, helping them to reach their full potential.

PE and Sport Premium for Primary Schools

The government has invested over £450 million in improving physical education and sport in primary schools. This funding—provided by the Departments for Education, Health, and Culture, Media and Sport—is allocated directly to primary Headteachers and is ring-fenced, meaning it can only be used to enhance the provision of PE and sport within schools.

Pupil Premium and Sports Premium Funding at Acre View

Acre View Primary School did not receive Pupil Premium or PE and Sports Premium funding for the 2024–2025 academic year. Despite this, the school used its own budget to ensure that pupils continued to benefit from the support and opportunities typically funded through these grants.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, the school received a limited amount of Pupil Premium funding. Acre View has continued to supplement this funding with its own resources to ensure that all required support is fully provided and that no pupil is disadvantaged.

The school has not received any Sports Premium funding for either the 2024–2025 or 2025–2026 academic years. Consequently, Acre View has continued to fund all PE and sports provision independently, maintaining a high-quality PE curriculum and a broad range of enrichment opportunities for pupils.
