Robin Class follows a semi-formal approach through the Equals Curriculum, providing pupils with opportunities to develop their academic, social and independence skills in a structured and engaging environment.

Learning is designed to be meaningful, relevant and personalised, helping pupils build knowledge and understanding while developing communication, confidence and independence. Through a balance of practical experiences, structured teaching and hands-on activities, pupils are encouraged to explore, problem-solve and apply their learning across different contexts.

The class supports pupils to develop functional communication, emotional regulation, social interaction and preparation for everyday life. Staff create a positive and nurturing atmosphere where achievement is celebrated, aspirations are high and every child is supported to make progress towards their individual goals.
