2 As we come to the end of a truly action-packed summer term at Acre View Primary School, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on the many achievements, adventures, and joyful moments we’ve shared... This term has been one of our busiest and most exciting yet! In May, we were thrilled to welcome Ofsted into our school and I’m incredibly proud to say that the inspection was a great success. A huge well done to our dedicated staff, our wonderful pupils, and our supportive families. Your hard work and commitment were recognised and celebrated, and we couldn’t be prouder. We’ve packed so much into this term, from enriching learning experiences to unforgettable trips. A standout moment was our first ever whole school trip to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, where pupils were mesmerised by a live orchestra performing classical music. We also explored the Anglican Cathedral, enjoyed horse riding, and had a fantastic time at Area 51 Café, to name a few! In school, we’ve brought learning to life with immersive Mayan and Egyptian experience days, and celebrated community and History with a joyful VE Day picnic. Our Sports Day was a brilliant display of teamwork, determination, and fun - thank you to everyone who came to cheer us on! We’ve also embraced the world of STEMwith exciting activities including coding workshops and a hands-on LEGO Spike Computing Workshop, sparking curiosity and creativity in our young learners. A special mention must go to all our pupils who have shown excellent attendance this year. Being in school regularly makes a huge difference to learning, friendships, and confidence, well done to everyone who made this a priority. As we head into the summer holidays, I want to thank our entire school community for making Acre View such a warm, inclusive, and inspiring place to learn and grow. To our pupils - thank you for your smiles, your spirit, and your incredible progress. To our families - thank you for your continued support. And to our staff - thank you for your passion, care, and tireless dedication. Have a safe, happy, and restful summer break. We look forward to welcoming you back in September for another exciting year ahead! Warmest wishes, Mrs E Wynne Welcome message from our Headteacher
